In 2021, Ropetech diversified into the Palm Oil industry with the acquisition of a 1000 acre estate which is located 41KM from Miri City. The estate has around 50,000 adult trees with monthly production of around 300 to 350 tonnes which is far from its potential. This is mainly due to shortage of estate workers which have been hit hard by the pandemic.

The company had since embarked on a campaign to increase its production yield through recruitment of estate workers, rehabilitation of trees with scheduled manuring, maintenance of field and main roads to maximise extraction efficiencies from field to refinery mill.
